On our way home this past November, we stopped in Germany. It was incredible! EVERYTHING was decorated for Christmas. We visited the Christmas markets in Munich and in Rothenburg (an actual walled medieval city). In Munich we ate dinner at the Hofbrauhaus, window shopped in Marienplatz, visited Peterskirche and Frauenkirche, and ate lots of Bratwurst and Saurkraut!! On Thanksgiving, we drove out to Neuschwanstein Castle. It was an awesome trip!
I've been trying to post this entry I wrote last week, but Typepad is not being agreeable. It either times out or the pictures don't show up. I wrote a top ten list of what's been going on since Harper's first birthday. We really neglected this thing for a while. Well since it won't work, I'll just write a little daily.
One big thing that started right after Harper's birthday was Mamma Mia. The theatre group on camp put on a production of the musical. Josh starred as "Skye," the young fiance,' and I was co-chair of costume design and creation. It was a ton of work, but a lot of fun. We both came out of the experience with new friendships and great memories. Here are some pictures . . .
While it was my very first time working with costumes, it wasn't Josh't first time on stage. Check it out . . . hehehe. Here he is as Frederick in The Sound of Music. :-)
