Last weekend, we said goodbye to a special person. George Kent was always the life of any party, he never met a stranger, and he was excellent at putting everyone around him at ease. I only had the privilege of knowing him and his family for a short 11 months, but it was long enough to realize his giving, fun-loving and sensitive nature. His excitement of sharing the place of his childhood memories with his wife and boys was evident each time you came in contact with him. He was a son, a brother, a husband, a father and a friend. His absense has created a large hole in our community. His life has challenged me to invest in people, be giving at all times, and to have an attitude of excitement when facing any new adventure. God bless you, George. We miss you! Please remember George's wife and two sons when you pray.
