Bangkok is a great city. Being there is like being at a giant carnival. You never know what you might see. This year my favorite sight in Bangkok was Princess Jasmine and her monkey pal Abu. When we knew we would be in Bangkok on Halloween we decided to bring Halloween with us. When the time came to get our costumes on, Mommy had a case of Bangkok Belly so Harper, Andrew and Daddy set off on our big Halloween Adventure.
After getting balloon animals from the hotel staff, we started at a fish spa down the street from our hotel. You put your feet in a fish tank and little fish nibble dead skin off your feet. Daddy's feet must be pretty gross because when his feet were in the tank all the fish flocked to daddy like metal shavings to a magnet leaving Harper with one solitary fish. Once Daddy took his feet out though, Harper got her share of nibbles from the fish. Meanwhile Abu hung out with the spa owner.
After the fish spa it was time to hit the sky train and go to the mall at Siam Center. Harper made lots of friends and the guard on the sky train platform helped her fix her face veil. At the station we met two nice ladies who gave us Halloween pens.
Bangkok is hot and humid and walking in costumes can be tiring! We decided to cool down with a big drink from a coconut. After that we went to the mall to explore. We met lots of new friends and even got to give a big Sa wa dee ka to Ronald McDonald. At Siam Ocean World we saw all kinds of fish, sharks, crabs, sting rays, giant clams, and penguins. We couldn't believe that we got to take a picture in the jaws of Megaladon Shark! Grandpa Doc would be proud! Little Buddy slept through most of it.
After the aquarium it was time to go to Rajawongse Clothiers. Jessee and Victor are a father and son team who make amazing bespoke suits and shirts. They have made suits for George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Nancy Reagan, John Kerry and many more visiting US statesmen. We ran into one of Daddy's friends who also happened to be there. Daddy had his final fitting and Jasmine and Abu got to meet Jessee.

After going to the tailors, everyone was tired so we headed home but not before stopping to get some candy from the front desk of the hotel and getting our picture on an elephant. All in all it was a great Halloween!
